Ok well I didn't say it in my last post. Soooo, happy Thanksgiving to everybody who reads this and everybody who doesn't. I'm posting it two days early because I doubt I'll have an internet connection when I get in to Missouri.

I've been addicted to my gameboy to pass the time since I came in and remembered I had it with me. Golden Sun: The Lost Age is the game, and it's fantastically awesome. I hope that Camelot (the developers) makes more RPGs for Nintendo in the near future. This one's already two years old I think. I also picked up one of the books from my bookshelf that I hadn't finished reading, of which there are three, and that was pretty good too. I'll have to bring them both with me...

And man. These tracks on ETN have been really awesome for the past hour and a half. Made my stay here so much better.

Ok, so I guess I didn't post about me being on break from Friday at 2:30 till Sunday. I'm on break. :P Unfortunately, I didn't bring my computer home from college, and it is sitting in my closet locked up nice and safe. That's why I haven't been on AIM at all.

Now that I'm home I grabbed my CD for the original Sims, and am thinking about installing it on this computer again, to give me something to do besides watch TV (I didn't even bring home my gamecube ;_;). It's pretty boring around here without my computer... That thing is my lifeblood.

I went out shopping yesterday trying to find a good deal on the RAZR, and found none. The Cingular store itself sells it for $200, and I was like woah fuck you guys. Best Buy has it for $40 after rebates right now, and I'm tempted to do that so I know how all the paperwork goes and that sort of thing. Then I decided that it would probably be best to just buy it online like I was originally going to do. So I am. I think. Amazon still has it for free after rebates, apparently they just have sequences for new rebates, one for right after the last one went out of time. Here I was, worried that I wouldn't be able to get a good deal... So I'll buy that again when I get back to school probably, and I'll just ship it there instead of home. Hopefully they won't have a problem with me shipping it to an address that isn't on my credit card. I'm pretty sure NewEgg doesn't like that. I need to buy DVDs too. Hmm...

Not much else going on here. I was expecting a call from my DM for D&D yesterday, and didn't get one. Probably should have called him to ask what was up. Too late now... I'm leaving on Wednesday for Missouri so I can have Thanksgiving with my relatives there. That promises to be... interesting, to say the least. We're staying at my cousin's house, who has two daughters, one around 6 and the other about 3 (I think). I'm betting on little to no sleep this week once we get there.

I think I'm going to install the Sims now... :P I'll talk to you all when I get back. Have a great Thanksgiving!

So I checked my order status today to see how it was going with the shipping and so forth, and it tells me that they can't process my order and I need to cancel it. I'm not quite sure what the fuck is up, but I'm like "Ok fine, jerks. I'll take my business elsewhere." So, I canceled it. I'm planning on visiting the Cingular store when I get back home for Thanksgiving break and probably buying it then. Maybe I won't even have to deal with this rebate, too. Free from the start... Supposedly. I'm not too upset, because this way I know for sure I'll get my phone when I'm there, instead of worrying if it'll get there Wednesday... Which is the same day my family is travelling over to Missouri to be with relatives for the holiday. So thats good. Glad I didn't write down the payment in my checkbook...

And I got an email from Amazon telling me not to cancel? Something about delays with Cingular to check if I could be a customer or not, or some such bullshit. Oh well. Too late now. Now I buy the phone in person. And I don't get a bluetooth headset ;_; Probably. Darn.

Finally bought my first cell phone... It's a Motorola V3 RAZR BLK, and I'm on the Cingular network. It's shipping at the moment, should be at my house sometime between Monday and Wednesday. I'm excited. Comes with a free headset, but who knows if I'll actually use it. I doubt it. But it might be handy. Maybe? No idea what my number is going to be. I imagine all that paperwork will be with it. Or maybe Cingular will send me the stuff. Not sure yet.

Now to finish writing my research paper, and create a bibliography.

I can feel a metronome going back and forth in my head, reminding me of how little time I have left. Curse school. On the other hand, after this week I get a one week break for Thanksgiving. Then a week of classes, a week for finals, and then a full month off before next semester. Time flew by really fast...

I think I'm going to hold off on buying my cell phone until later. On one hand, the Razr is pretty sweet. On the other, theres a new model of the Razr coming out. I'll wait. At the worst, the price drop on the current Razr will be nice. Not to mention I really don't need a phone. As cool as it would be. I haven't needed one until now, and I don't think I'll need one by the time it comes out. I admit, it would have been handy to have though at times. Things seem to work out. With everything.

Watched some Naruto to get the edge off. It's getting even better than before... I'm excited. All the characters now have extensive back-history, and it's all starting to mix and create problems. Awesome stuff. And Naruto isn't a complete loser anymore. Yay.

Now, back to the metronome... 6 more pages to write!

It occurred to me today that a lot of the people that I think know me the best know me as something I am not. People see me as a joker on the inside with an all too honest outside. At least, I think. I think the real me isn't a joker at all. I know for sure I can't tell any good jokes. The random times when I've tried to think of any I can't. Even when somebody just told me a good one and I tell myself, "I have to remember that...", I can't. So I'm not a joker. I'm much more of a serious person all around. I joke to hide seriousness of situations. Most of the time they're not even jokes, they're like... little kid's and stuff. Usually with smiley faces afterwords.

Anyway. I think enough people think of me like that that they don't tell me stuff that they think I'll just shrug off instead of taking them seriously. I'm sorry for all the times I've done it. I don't mean it. Please, next time, just be like, "Hey! That's important to me!" and I'll back off. Promise.

My job work thing supports three different buildings, two of them: "Child Development Laboratory" and "Early Child Development Laboratory" (CDL & ECDL). Today, I spent a solid half hour to hour in ECDL, and I saw a little girl, no older than 5, who had solid blue eyes. And they were awesome. People need solid color eyes. They're so cool.

Ok, that was that randomness... Now you all think I'm a pedifile... Maybe I should start updating mid day instead of just a few hours after midnight...

This week is starting to feel like my worst one so far. I know I did bad on my Math midterm today, and I forgot yet another english assignment that was due today. The presentation went really well though. I ended up managing to drag it on for at least 15 minutes, so I was nervous for nothing. I still haven't rewrote my 3 page essay, but I gave her a thesis today and she said it'll probably be fine. Now I just need to write that out, maybe even turn it into her mailbox today. After that, I'll probably have a long sleep. Actually, no probably not. Who am I kidding.

Got my chem test back today. I thought I killed it, but it appears the reverse is true. What the FUCKKKKKKKKK! I've still got the presentation to do, and then a math midterm... Wish me luck...

I'm a fucking idiot. I have a 10 minute presentation that I have to do in about 11 and a half hours, a 3 page essay due (same class) and a midterm in about 12 and a half hours. I haven't done anything for the 10 minute presentation, I've written one 3 page essay, but I wrote it with the wrong syllibus in mind, and I think I'm only ready for about half of the midterm. I had a midterm today which I bombed, and having 17 hours of school per week sucks. FUCK.

[2:19 AM]Today is probably going to be one of the most stressful days I've had since I had presentations in English first semester of senior year. I don't think I'll ever get rid of this nervousness before a big event. This presentation isn't even supposed to be a big deal, but it feels like it. I'm hoping I can keep my little thing going for at least five minutes. Supposedly, I'm supposed to be able to ask questions, get responses, and in general get the class to talk to me so I have something to do for 10 minutes. The class is split up in two, as well, so it's even LESS stressful. Man. I should be able to do this.. right?

I've got a long week ahead of me... Test today, then after the test I need to write a three page essay for tomorrow (that I wrote once, but essentially using the wrong syllibus), midterm Thursday that I'm going to fail no matter what I do, midterm Friday, and a 10 minute presentation in RHET same day. Forgive me if I die somewhere in there. I'm running on about 8 hours of sleep over two days now too, and it's not looking good for tomorrow...
