.: Surprises :.

Sometimes I surprise myself. 643 (and expanding) plays of LAST ALLIANCE in the last week? I just discovered them like... 9 days ago. They're already the #3 most listened to band for me over the past year and a half plus. I can't get enough... I don't even know why. Only maybe 5 or so of their songs are catchy enough and slow enough for me to be able to pick out the lyrics and somewhat sing along to, the rest I can make out the words but it's way too fast. Plus it's doubly hard since it's in Japanese. :)

I also surprise myself because I haven't spent as much time as I would have liked to on learning Japanese. I keep telling myself to read that book I bought... I've not made it past chapter four, which is about 30-40 pages in. It's always nearby me, it's in my backpack... Which is never more than a reach away. I haven't learned how to write more than the first row of characters in Hiragana, somewhat because I get confused with や (ya). I feel like there's no way for me to write it right. It's just... Confusing. Somehow. I don't know how to explain it. It's sort of like trying to pronounce りょ (ryo) to me. I think I get it but I get that feeling I'm doing it wrong. I hope to spend more time with it. I really would like to know as much as I possibly can, and then some, before next December.

I'm having a lot more trouble finding a job than I was under the impression I would have. I'm starting to regret my summer after all. I had a really good time and I think I learned enough about myself to make it worth it, but I need a job or my future plans are going to fall through, and I really don't want that to happen.

Adion is currently listening to: LAST ALLIANCE - Katahiza no Yogore [3:20]
