I didn't do what I should have done, again. Why, why, why...

So, I figured since today is now the end of the week, I'd do a quick post. School's going pretty ok. I've got three midterms next week, as they always seem to be back to back. I'm starting to get a little more freetime as the time passes, but I know in just a short while it's going to dissappear, as I need to write a 4 page essay followed by a 10 page one, the second needing a large number of sources. On the bright side, this is the last semester of English I'll ever have to take. Yay!

I get to register for dorms November 10th, and classes November 16th, which will be interesting. I've been told that I should have gotten an email from my advisor by now asking to make an appointment, and I have not yet. I'm thinking I'll end up changing my roomates again, to another friend of mine from high school. And living in Wardall, which is normally an all girls dorm, but for some reason they're flipping floors 8 & 9 to guys. Which is excellent, because it's got the best facilities on campus IMHO. And perfect location. I might not need to bring my bike if I get it, just because it's right next to the quad. I'll probably bring it just to have it when I want it though. Never know when having a bike might come in handy. Anyways.

Haha, somebody in my math class is named Robbie, and I totally thought of the Dane Cook skit and chuckled to myself. I'm sure people think I'm crazy now. I think I'm going to stop going to my Tuesday discussion class for math, I learn negative amounts in there because my TA makes so many mistakes, and she doesn't even speak English very well. I don't know how familiar any of you are with any calculus, but she pronounces L'Hopital's Rule as Leptasil's Rule, cotangent as cotange (like tangerine, only without the "rine"), and double as ducco. I'm stumped as to what part of Asia she is from, however. It is somewhat funny to listen to her talk though, maybe I should go just for that.

Anyways. I need to head to my 4:00 class now...

Ok, seriously. What's up with all these damn comments advertising shit. I'm not a dumbass, I know an anonymous comment with a link in it to some random website and a note about how much they enjoyed my blog is a bullshit comment. My blog isn't entertaining, I'm not blind. It's really boring and nobody reads it but like, 3 people. And I never update it. Even though I should. *grumble* stupid advertising comments...

So my parents came in for the day, and they restocked all my foodstuffs. No longer do I have to leave the dorm room for food! I can be the perfect anti-social being! Mwahaha! Just kidding. It's only breakfast food for the most part. And it's really boring and people make fun of you if they only see you playing WoW. I'm glad I spend a lot of my time at ISR or class. Or doing homework. Make's me feel like less of a loser. Also, my dad fixed my bike up a little, now I have the top 10 gears of the possible 15, which is better than the 5 I had before. Yay!

My mother mentioned something about my hair (which I suppose is getting a little bit long) and essentially tried to force me to get my hair cut. To which I said, (without the swears) "No, fuck you." multiple times. I kind of like it this long. It's curling on the back of my head just the right amount. Any more and it'd be a mullet, and any less and it wouldn't curl. I dunno. Probably is a mullet. Fuck. I'd take a picture, but I'm too lazy to go downstairs and borrow a digital camera from the basement. Supposedly we can do that. I'm mostly growing my hair out to get longer bangs. And now that I think about it, that probably wouldn't even look that cool on me. Fuck. Hair sucks. If any of you's have some suggestions, comment about them, please. Heh, most random thing to ask for...

Hopefully, the HTML doesn't need fixing. I'd say it's overall accurate, but a little less on the scientific. A lot of those questions were kind of... Unanswerable also. Take it yourself and you'll see what I mean. I'd like to consider myself as open to religion, but definately not believing in one. I think a lot of religious stuff is pretty cool; angels are pretty sweet, and reincarnation a-la FF9 & FF7 style is interesting to me. In general, religion is interesting, but mostly to me as a giant storybook, rather than a dictionary that must be held to be true.

Ok, it's been far too long since my last post. I suppose I was wrong when I postulated a few months ago that when I got to college I would post every day like I was doing for a while in HS.

I'm sure most of you have heard of facebook. Today, I got a friend request from somebody named Aleksander Schwab. I accept the friend request and glance over his profile. He shares almost ALL of my interests, likes the same kind of music, plays the same video games, played WoW until he came to college, and he's a computer science major too.

I'm convinced that we were factory babies or something. The only thing weird is that he's in Maryland right now, and not here. Actually, thats not weird. I think thats... interesting? I'm not quite sure how to take it. He's just across the country, and he is almost me. Or am I almost him?

A lot of time has passed since my roomate came home wasted. I've got a job now, my first day was last Wednesday (10/12/05). I had a good first day experience, and my boss is pretty cool too. Turns out that he's an otaku, so I think this will work out really well. Pay is $8.00 an hour, and I work about 9 hours a week. I'm pretty sure I'm going to be using my first two weeks' pay to buy a cell phone (possible number: 133-7357 leetest, needs revision). So that's about $140 to drop on that and the rest I'll start saving. I imagine some will end up being used for WoW, and I'm looking into buying Skies of Arcadia for Gamecube on EBay. I suppose I'll have to make an account for that first though.

I'm getting B's in my classes so far, I think. Not doing that bad for 17 hours of class, plus all the stuff I do in my freetime. And missing some classes because I'm sleeping through them... I am definately having problems with sleeping at a respectable time. I wish I could take naps, I just don't fall asleep. I can only sleep in the morning for some reason... Oh well. God knows I won't start going to bed at a respectable time though :P

Nothing else too major is going down now... Although I think the job is definately going to be a nice change. Having money when you want it is always good.
