.: Well :.

I'm kind of upset. I was planning on going to ACen with the gang I went to it with a couple years ago, but apparently work won't let me take those days off. I think the scheduler is a kind enough person that she might try and do something for me, but I'm thinking I'll be lucky to be able to make a day up there. Which I guess could be interesting. I want to go there to see what's changed since I went in '05, and to pick up anime & manga for way cheaper than it is at bookstores, plus cool posters etc. But it's about 37 miles away. So.. Thats 4 gallons of gas, roughly $12 to drive there, plus $50 for a pass, just to look around for cool stuff to buy. Maybe I can get a friend of mine to buy stuff for me...

Still watching Code Geass, which is a very good show. I'm not quite sure what the holdup is on the fansubbing, because every group has stopped at episode 23/25. Maybe they're waiting for the DVDs to be released in Japan? If so, then Wikipedia suggests that the last two episodes will be released on the 25th.

Blizzard is doing a 10 day free trial of the Burning Crusade expansion pack--which I, guiltfully, am doing. I made a new character on a new (to me) server where some of my friends have split off a long time ago and played for a while. I have to say that so far, my impression of the new content is good. I'm displeased that the new races don't have entirely new places to level to 60 in, but I suppose that was to be expected. The first twenty levels of my new Blood Elf Paladin were fun. Unfortunately I haven't had time to play since Friday, with work in the way.

My dad & I changed the brakes and rotors on my car two weekends ago, and this last weekend I changed the oil in my car. No longer does my car squeek when I stop, and I probably saved roughly $50 doing it myself. Plus I learned how to do it. It's not as complicated as I thought it would be.

I'm starting to get tired of all the music I have again. It's kind of amazing how fast it goes. So now I'm listening to pandora for some new music I haven't heard before. I haven't listened to Pandora in so long, I'm surprised my account even still works. It's nice for the change of pace though.

.: Last Exile :.

Last Exile was a great show. Had a pretty good ending too. If you haven't seen it, you should check it out. :P The music is fantastic too, and really catchy >.> It might be the first steampunk show that I've seen that was good. Trigun blew, so... Yeah. Probably was. If you look it up on wikipedia, don't read past the first segment or you'll ruin some of the plot :P I almost did, when I was trying to find who the seiyuu was for Alvis...

I'm in the process of watching Code Geass now, which is definately interesting. It's mecha combat with some interesting new mechs, and the main character can mind control people (with a few limitations). I'm on episode 5 so far, and it's been entertaining.

Hmm... Not a whole lot else to report. My car's brakes are squeeking :( I went to the mechanic on Monday and they said my rotors need replacing, and that's gonna be $200 to do. Blergh.

.: Corvette! :.

So, an old friend of mine bought a Corvette recently, and he was in the area, so he called me and asked if I wanted to go for a ride. I said hell yes. He came by around 7:15, and we drove around for an hour or so. So awesome. Lots of fun. He let me drive it around on the subdivision and he would have let me drive on the streets if I wanted, but I said no thanks, I didn't want to do anything stupid with his car, or get a ticket in it :P It has unbelievable torque! Lots of fun. I was almost speechless with just sheer happyness for most of the time in the car. It's got so much random cool stuff, plus it has a removeable top so we drove around topless (:P) for a bit, too. Weather was good for an April night, too.

So I really just wanted to write that. Man. Awesome time.

Let's see... I got my Wii finally on the 24th I think of March. I was too excited at the time to write about it :P I bought Zelda & WiiPlay for it, and while WiiPlay is fun, I'm glad the game only costs $10 + the $40 for the included controller. Zelda is a much better game so far. I'm on the third dungeon, if you can call it that, as I'm not really sure what to call it. The water temple perhaps? I'm loving it so far.

Unfortunately, I watched the second season of Initial D, which got me really excited about cars and such, so I finally got around to installing Need for Speed: Most Wanted... I've been playing that instead of Wii >.> It's fun, too, though.

I've recently begun watching Last Exile, which has been a great show so far as well. It reminds me a lot of Full Metal Alchemist, and the voice actor for Al reminds me of a different character I can't quite place, but apparently the seiyuu, Anna Shiraki, hasn't done any other anime yet. I think I'll get back to watching that, actually.

I only recently posted about how I don't like what they did to the "Blog This!" button, but I didn't ask for them to take it away! The jerks.
