Nothing much to report. Workin'... Goin' to school... I enjoy the fact that I only have to go on monday wednesday and friday this semester. Saving me a ton on gas :) The bad side is I have to sit through a little over four hours of class on those days. One of my classes sucks, two are meh but could be interesting, and one is pretty cool. The strange thing is, I expected my LIT class (the pretty cool one) to be meh, and psych (one of the meh) to be pretty cool. The class that sucks is one of the required intro classes to get an associates, and I'm pretty sure it sucks because the teacher knows we have to take it at one point or another, so she can be a bitch and people can't really drop. She's a complete hardass and it ruins the class :(

All my classes are heavy on reading, and I think this may be the first semester where I actually do read the books. Maybe. I hope so. I always feel retarded at the end of the semester when I sell my books, essentially unused back to the bookstore. And I still get As. Which is good. I guess. Just wish I hadn't bought the book in the first place. Oh well. Stupid Eastern and their book rentals... Stupid nobody else doing it. *grumble*

I learned how to mix paint at work the other day. It's pretty awesome. I think it's awesome enough that I'd be interested in transferring to that department. Maybe. Tomorrow is pay day. Yay! Finally get my raise. We'll see how big it is. Probably not worth getting excited over. But I can hope... corporate can crush hopes though... There's a bathroom for employees only in the middle of the store, and apparently corporate is sending a crew or something soon to take it out. Pretty stupid, as it saves people (especially cashiers) who work in garden from having to walk all the way across the store, about a 5 minute walk, to go to the bathroom. And then they have to walk back! Efficiency loss, coming up! On the bright side, apparently now we're partnering up with some charity or another to give away all our markdowns and RTVs to. So... if we mark down a box of lightbulbs because one is broken, we give the rest to them. I guess? Seems like we should have been doing this since the company started. I heard a story that a while ago we marked down a box of gloves and had to trash them all because of corporate policy. That seems really stupid. There's always someone out there who needs a set of gloves.

Been playing Disgaea 2 recently. It's fun. I can imagine whiling away the hours playing that for a long time to come. It's a turn based strategy, which is odd for me... First time I've actually liked one... I guess besides Advance Wars for GBA. But that's two out of like 10 or something. Whatever.

I jump started a car today! Felt good. Sorta? Was nice to know I helped. Weren't even my cables, they were a third party's. First time I've done it too. I thought I remembered instructions saying it was a little more challenging than it was... Like having to put wires on in a really special order... Or something? Pretty simple though. Felt stupid when it took me a couple seconds to find my battery though. :) Luckily no one noticed.

Found yet another anime to watch. Still need to finish watching another two different series entirely, plus what portions are released of yet another two. Eureka 7 is the name. Mecha show. I'm a sucker for sci-fi, and mechs count. I think pretty soon I'll try and take a day to just burn through some of the other shows I have downloaded... Like Wolf's Rain or Kanon. Heard good things about them both. And that the ending on Wolf's Rain is good, but sad. Which is fine, as long as it's good.

I need to get some sleep... Maybe one day I'll stop staying up til after three in the morning when I get up at seven. Or maybe not. I slept 11 hours today for some reason... Probably because of these sorts of things. :)

I guess I should update this, as it's been a while now.

Christmas was good. As I've mentioned previously I'm getting better at being thankful for what I do get instead of upset for not getting other things I might have wanted. Although, I got some really random stuff this year... A martini shaker? I'm not even 21 and I don't drink anyway. Otherwise I didn't get anything I don't want, i.e. clothes, and I generally got stuff that I appreciate.

I spent most of the end of both Christmas eve & day at John's house fixing his computer. He got hacked and lost most everything he did online... Passwords, all his email and AIM accounts, (as if AIM matters) and probably credit cards. So I just reformatted and reinstalled windows. With any luck he won't get anything again but honestly I think he was lucky... They were mostly after ruining his online game and not at ruining him. Because I'm pretty sure they didn't even try to use his credit cards. On the bright side I've been trying to get him to quit that game for something like three years and this might have finally done it.

I spent New Years at Jackie's house with a lot of my friends from high school that I hardly see anymore. The weather was terrible. We ended up playing guitar hero a lot more than I thought we would. She has a pool table in her basement so we played that too. And a quick game of Trivial Pursuit. My team won. :)

Hmm. I've had a pretty good winter vacation for the most part so far. Spent it mostly with people I haven't seen in a while. And finally getting some much needed sleep. Going to visit somebody else I haven't seen in a while today too... Think I'm going to go get ready.
