.: Lately :.
Then the fun part comes, after all that is done. Making characters worth following around. Conflicts should come easily with that much detail, the question of the time frame and how serious of conflicts I want will come later. Do I want the main characters fleeing an all powerful lord for something? Do I want some greater power involved trying to rope them into doing things? Perhaps they stumble upon some "legend" and find themselves in trouble. All of the above?
I've also been contemplating letting a few friends of mine play it as a D&D campaign. I think it could turn out to be very interesting. I plan to have almost nothing like it is in real life, right down to days of the week being named differently. Perhaps one race of the people only operate during the night? So many possibilities!
In other news... I've watched a whole lot of anime recently. Getting back into the swing of that I guess. I'm starting up Kenshin, against my own judgment because the show is so long it will take forever to finish it. But it is a good series so far, and I'm only on maybe episode nine. I started watching another new show that's currently being aired too, Sora wo Kakeru Shoujo ("The Girl Who Leapt Through Space", although Sora means sky, it's about space and is translated as such elsewhere). Mostly because the title is so close to my favorite anime's title, "Toki wo Kakeru Shoujo" ("The Girl Who Leapt Through Time"). I just finished Wangan Midnight (racing!), and many of the other shows I've been watching have seemed to stall while I wait for releases.
I was reading Dogentricks I believe when I found a link to a tricking video featuring a song by Ratatat, and ended up getting their discography. Really engaging stuff, I wish I had better sound equipment. The official video is... interesting. Hah.
Adion is currently listening to: Ratatat - Mumtaz Khan [2:38]
