Grrrr. Just bought this camera, now the flash doesn't work. I wanted to take a picture of the Yen I now have in my possession, it's pretty nifty. It gets wider as the note is worth more. And they have cool holograms. But the flash doesn't work. :(

EDIT(1/6/10): returned the camera for my money back. Figure I'm not going to need a digital camera anytime soon anymore anyway, not worth the hassle of shipping it back to the manufacturer to have them fix it.

So. I'm going to Japan in five days. FIVE DAYS WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fourteen days in the land of the rising sun :)

Man. I'm packing at the moment. Wondering to myself what all I'm going to be buying and trying to take back with me. I've got $500 USD being transferred to ¥, should be here by Thursday. Debit cards work there, but my credit card is a no go. Need to get a rail pass to take the trains for a substantial discount. Not sure if I should bring my phone or not, even though I can turn it to airplane mode and still have wifi on, which effectively gives me a way to call back home if necessary (although at like $2.50 a minute). On the other hand, I could rent a phone. But I'm running short on time to be able to do that I think.

Suggestions on what to get while I'm there, and on where to go? The hotel is in Tokyo, so theoretically I'd like to be able to get to the destination and back in one day while still being able to do stuff at said destination.



Mmm... Other news, Thanksgiving has come and gone. Went to my brothers house and we had dinner with my immediate family and his girlfriends mom and her boyfriend. Was pretty good times. On black friday I bought a PS3, and have been enjoying that. Looking forward to FF13 & FF14, among others.

Work has been okay. We have a new store manager, and he sucks. Word is that he's friends with our district manager, and that's how he got the job. I hope that we can kick him out soon. Somehow.

Hmm. That's good for now. I think. If I think of anything else I'll make a new post.
