I am now working on learning to write hiragana. I found a sweet website that shows the stroke order so I can learn it right the first time. Hopefully in the process I'll remember what symbols mean what sounds and I'll be able to read it without having to cross reference charts. That's the goal at least. I'm working on learning to write with my right hand too, which is pretty interesting. 'Cause it's really sloppy. Haha, I suppose it doesn't matter what language I try to write with my right hand; it's not going to be pretty. I figure if I try it long enough I might slowly become ambidextrous, which would be pretty awesome. I'm not far off already, really, I think. I do lot's of things with my right hand even though I'm technically a lefty. I play almost all sports right handed, for example. I even bowl right handed.

I've been consuming a lot of media recently... Powered through a ton of anime, listening to new albums and artists as I can get a hold of them, reading books when I can't do the others. Guess that's probably the only perk of not having a job. I could use one though. Money is starting to slowly disappear from my savings and there's nothing putting anything back in. I need it so I can go to Japan, at the least. That has to happen.

School is going alright. I'm at the dreaded middle point where all the teachers seem to start assigning written homework (such as essays) and expect me to not be a procrastinator. Silly teachers. Every time I finish it the night before, and every time I tell myself I won't do that again. Silly me.

I think I'm gonna get back to work learning. First time in a really long time I've actually felt like doing something besides play games or other pointless stuff. Feels kinda nice, I think?
