.: Yeah :.
After I came back from Japan I just sort of settled back into my daily routine: work, play a little, sleep a little, work. So my life has been pretty boring. For a little while I was up for a promotion at work, but they picked the more experienced and better suited candidate. Can't really blame them, although that's one of the few times they do the logical thing...
Haven't really watched much anime at all, my free time has been mostly spent on trying to beat a backlog of PS3 games I have now, and some EVE Online. It's a really fun game once you get over the learning cliff. Beat FF13... It's pretty solid. I understand the major complaint people have about it, which is that it's almost a tutorial for the first twenty odd hours in terms of simplicity before they make the game challenging. Complaints about the linearity are unfounded, I feel. I do sort of dislike not being able to go back to old areas once you've cleared them, I feel it's a waste of a whole lot of very good art. I'm hoping FF13 Versus is a vastly different game.
Birthday was yesterday, but since my dad is currently in Thailand, we won't be celebrating til Sunday. Day itself was good though. Beat FF13 at 2:30am :P Went out to Japanese at a local place. I had beef udon, was kind of sad they didn't have soba. I love soba...
Two of my friends have now moved out of town, and it's now basically just me and one other guy... No more random "let's get dinner!"s. :(
