So, I got an iPhone 3G S. So far it's been pretty awesome. The only thing not awesome about it is the $65 bill every month for it. It's really nice being basically on the internet at all times though. I can IM from it pretty much anywhere... surf the internet although I don't really do that, listen to pandora.com anytime I want to listen to music... It's really nice. As to be expected from the $200 price tag.

Other news... I'm almost finished with Fate/Stay Night, which has gotten worse as the show goes on. I think what bothers me about it is that they do so much that just doesn't seem like it should be that way. It's... too cartoony for me. When they show fights, and the main character gets punched through walls in one scene and in the next his sword breaks on some guys fists, then that guy punches his face and for some reason he's not really hurt I don't like it. I mean... The wall punch should be a killing blow. Haha I just realized that it's not even the fact that a guy can punch someone else through a wall that I don't like, it's that he doesn't seem to really take enough damage from it. Otherwise, hmm. The characters are more or less okay, although Rin's desire to speak German is amusing, because if it wasn't for the translations they show I'd think it was some offshoot dialect of Japanese she's got such an accent. I'd never have guessed it was German, at least. The music is good to okay, animations pretty solid, but it's rare to find poorly drawn anime these days anyway.

Other news... Happy fathers day!

I finally got my raise at work, maybe a week ago after I complained again that it wasn't on there, the store manager was like okay I'll do it myself. Then she did. So next Friday I should have my raise, and maybe that paycheck but more likely the next I'll have all the backpay associated with the promotion. So that's nice. I'm hoping for a 90 day raise like they used to do. Not sure if they will or not. My boss did tell me that when it's time for reviews she'd "make sure I was well taken care of." So that's good.

So I'm totally not dead. I've just been really busy. Currently, all my time is being taken up by doing some serious session planning for D&D. I'm such a nerd. It's a lot of fun though, because I feel sort of like I'm writing a story in which the main characters are my friends. I'm doing my best to keep it interesting without forcing them to go one way or another.

When I'm not doing that or working, I've been trying to watch Fate-Stay Night, which is... interesting. Nothing special yet. Not bad, just, not great. Mediocre. A decent enough plot I suppose, and it's nice to be away from the tsundere of Shakugan no Shana. Which again, was not bad. I downloaded the second season to watch at some point, so I suppose that's somewhat of a recommendation. In addition to the anime, I've been trying to find time to play Kingdom Hearts 2 (just opened that about a month ago), and beat Ar-Tonelico. I also need to beat Pikmin, which was a birthday gift.

My mom is interested in getting a family phone plan with me, which I need to look into at some point... I've so far discovered only that the AT&T website has like 4 phones to pick between and two of them are the same in a different color. I know there are more phones out there, so I suppose one day we'll have to swing by Best Buy or something and see if we can do it there. Maybe at an actual AT&T store. Blah.

Oh, and I need to see if I can fix Jenny's laptop. I haven't even had time to open up the case yet. John's computer has been acting up, and he wants me to look at that too...

God, so much to do, so little time. Working full time kinda sucks :/ At least I'm getting paid though.
