.: I'm So Weird :.

Lately I've been wondering if anybody makes a one handed keyboard. Like... Half the keyboard, and then you hit a button to basically "switch" to the other side. Or something. So it'd be like holding shift would get you the right side of the keyboard or something. I think it'd be a pretty cool idea... Great for gaming, so you can keep your hand on the mouse while typing responses or something. I'm crazy.

I'm somewhat kinda worried I did something to my car... I like to drive fast, and then if I see a red light ahead I'll drop into neutral so the engine slows down. Only today I forgot I moved into neutral and started revving again. I wasn't watching the RPMs but when I kicked it back into drive the car was acting a little different than normal. I don't think I broke anything, or anything... Maybe just stressed something. I'm also interested if maybe my transmission needs a flush. When I was first getting my car checked out before I replaced the brakes, the mechanics that were looking at it said that it needed one. I don't know much at all about cars, and for all I know they were just pulling my leg for an extra $100. Iono. I started hearing a sorta squeek noise about a month ago whenever I drove in heavy traffic (stop go stop go stop go) and it hasn't ever really gone away. It's pretty rare, and even rarer driving normally (it has to be pretty heavy). Still, I wonder.

I did find out I have the most torque in the mid-upper 4k RPM regions, which my car doesn't want me to do I'm pretty sure, as even pedal to the metal it usually goes up to 4k and shifts... And I just spent the last hour looking at cars :)

Time to go to bed.

.: Weekend's Coming :.

Nothin' special going on, now. I got my tire fixed on Tuesday instead of Monday. I was too tired to get it fixed early on Monday, and I had freetime on Tuesday.

The speech went alright. I was under time, but I think I still did a pretty decent job. I'll get a grade for it on Monday. I'm supposed to write a short little paper about the my thoughts on how the speech went, too. I have a group presentation on Thursday for my Child Psych class. It'll be interesting to see how that goes. I'm not expecting well. Honestly I just want to pass that class, I don't care about getting an A+ or anything. A B will do me fine. Hate the teacher, and the topic isn't as interesting as I had thought it would be for me. Psych seems interesting to me, but I guess it isn't. Maybe it's just the teacher. Philosophy isn't very interesting either. Then again, I guess that might be because I really don't understand how you can drag on talking about ethics for 40 hours. And I don't like that teacher either... I seem to have grabbed a bad stock of teachers. Except I actually like my history teacher, he seems genuinely interested in his topic, rather than just informed. I wore my I HATE Jack Thompson shirt today and he asked me who he was. I was happy to spread the hate :)

I recently started listening to Frou Frou & Imogen Heap (basically the same band, but not). I like it. Some songs are meh, but most of them are really pretty good. It's a nice change of pace, to say the least. I've been listening to my new collection of DM for so long I was starting to forget what other music sounded like. I'll get back to the last 100 hours or so of it eventually, I'm sure.

Just a couple more paychecks and I should be able to pay my dad for the rest of my car. Looking forward to that. One less thing I have to worry about later, and one less thing he can bring up when I buy stuff for myself. Like when I bought my TV :P

.: Car :.

Well, I changed the oil on my car today. And checked the air in my tires. Learned I have a nail in my rear driver side tire. Now I have to get up early tomorrow, way before school, to get it fixed. Which means I can't stay up late tonight...

I have a short (3 minutes) speech in class tomorrow. I think I'm going to do it about the shirt I bought at the pillows concert. I'm not entirely sure how it's supposed to go. I know I need to use an object as a focal point for a past event. And that there has to be an opening, body, and conclusion. But what the speech is really supposed to be about is beyond me. I can't just be like, it fucking ROCKED. The end. I wonder how much detail I'm supposed to go in. Should I mention how Sawao is an awesome concert guitarist? He jumps and plays guitar all the time, and by jump I mean leap. He's awesome. Hmm..

I started playing Tabula Rasa again. They wiped the characters in the month or two since I played last, which kinda sucks. However, it's definately a much more polished game now. The UI looks much cleaner, there are good looking buttons, and theres a crafting system now. Some things still need a bit of work, but it's overall much closer to release I think. I believe the official release date is October 19th.

I bought Bioshock and Metriod Prime 3: Corruption shortly after their release dates. So far, I've found out that I need a more powerful computer for sure to run Bioshock well, and that Metroid is freaking amazing. I've played both for roughly 12 or so hours each, and so far Metroid has been more fun, but Bioshock has been more innovating. I think I would like Bioshock a lot more if I could run it at decent settings, and not have it crash my computer when I alt-tab.

It's been three weeks. I don't know how I feel anymore.
