I'm demanding a lot of myself right now. Kinda like it.
Working on a 4th Edition campaign of D&D, where I DM. It's taking a lot of work. More than expected, but still manageable. It's fun so far. I've DMd two sessions now, the second much more successful than the first. We're all new to the rules, so it's taking a bit of work to get difficulties right on encounters, and I'm trying to keep up with the players when it comes to generating new content to keep them interested. I've made a blog especially for it. I would have liked to have made a Livejournal, but they don't allow one account to have two journals, which I thought was kind of stupid. At least, not that I could figure out. I wanted it for the privacy controls which are non-existant on blogger mostly, so I could post entries privately to only myself about the story and that sort of thing. Maybe I'll redo the whole thing on Livejournal in the near future before the blog actually goes somewhere, but for now it's on Blogger.
The past few weeks have been relatively uneventful besides this. I've been working, reading, playing games, and planning this D&D campaign out. Nothing exciting really going on right now.
Work didn't put my raise on my last paycheck, which means now I have one more thing to pester my boss's boss about and hope that he actually does something. Not likely. I won't stop until I've gotten what I require, though.
Actually seriously contemplating moving out now. I do searches on craigslist every few days to check up on the market, see if there's anything close by that isn't too pricey. The hope is to find a place that I can afford with one other person without spending all my money on it. I don't know when I'll be doing serious looking, but I'm sure I will be moving, and that it will be before the end of the year at the absolute latest. This may destroy my plans for Japan, but I'm hoping I can still save enough to pull it off. Only way to tell is to wait, right now.
I should have gone to bed an hour and a half ago. Night night.
