.: Days Go By :.

Well. It's been a long series of days seemingly neverendingly strung together into one mesh of a day. Last week was packed, and completely weird. I spent at least three days (Monday-Wednesday) at Sarah's house for her "going away" parties, which was a lot of fun until I got eaten alive by mosquitos (sp). I had a good time with that, and then Thursday came around and we all went out again for some ice cream at Coldstones (which has awesome ice cream). A part of me feels like I'll never see 80% of the people I saw that week ever again. It's kinda depressing, but then I remember that I barely know any of them, even if they are friends of mine. Saturday was an odd ball day, I thought I had plans for it but then they sort of evaporated. I went to Ralph's graduation party (last one!) for about two hours before leaving. At one point I thought I was going to go from Ralph's to D&D, but D&D ended up being canceled, so I spent the rest of the day playing WoW. I applied for another two jobs at U of I on Sunday, got no response from either yet. This week is starting to look full now, also... I'm thinking about trying to get one last LAN party hosted before school starts and I never see some of them again. Thursday is a pool party at Pat's house, and then Friday is a Risk match... Saturday is a going away BBQ at Marks, and probably also D&D. Not sure how I'm going to work that, I probably just won't go to D&D...

I finished downloading and watching Gunslinger Girl. It's a VERY good show, and it deals heavily with morals and emotions. I don't want to go into too deep of a detail, because the show is much better at it, but it revolves around a small group of girls who were saved from the brink of death at the cost of their memory. They all get new mentors (forming a "fratello"), and through brainwashing are conditioned to love/care deeply for that mentor. The girls are trained to be assassins, and they do things which could be considered wrong and so forth, but they don't really know why it's bad. My favorite episode is #3, where Rico meets a boy at a place she's scouting out for a later assassination job. They talk for a while before Rico thinks of an excuse to leave and become, at the least, aquantences. Later, during her actual mission, she sees him and kills him. It's a very moving show, and I really really liked it.

In other anime news, Naruto is finally starting to kick some major ass. I'm up to about episode 68 now, and it's getting really intense. I know a lot of people who don't like Naruto because he's kinda a jerk or whatever, but if you liked what you've seen so far, you should definately try to watch up to here at least. I don't want to give any spoilers, so if you're interested in Naruto, go look up some reviews of season three or just take my word for it and get it.

I leave you now in favor of watching the next episodes.
