.: Problems :.

Well, all was going great with this new XP thing goin on, for two and a half days. And then, being the genious that I am, I try to get winamp to display the visual stuff fullscreen so I don't burn a picture of my desktop to the monitor while I'm doing homework, and then my computer reboots. It didn't even give me a warning, BSOD, or anything. So now I'm apprehensive of using the feature. It's nice too... I can get normal sized visualizations, but I don't want to risk doing fullscreen agian for a while at least. Also, it fucked up AIM and Winamp when it did finally reboot. My AIM lost all data, except for my profile (thank god) and my friends list. I loaded my buddy list, which should have fixed it all for the most part, and nothing changed... So I quit out of AIM and restarted the program. It fixed itself then, or something. DeadAIM started working, my text was the right color, it didn't make annoying noises when somebody logged on/off. Happy days. But right after I fixed that, I loaded Winamp only to hit the play button (what else is it for?). Anddd it popped up a message saying that the audio device was already in use. So, I tried hitting play again, same message. Looked at my screen funny for a bit, and decided to change output devices in the preferences of Winamp. Voila, problem solved. Only now I don't have cool audio fading :( .

I had been using BitTornado on Win98SE for a while, and because my dad has a port blocked on the router, I can't go very fast because it's a pretty important port for it. Anyway, once I installed BitTornado & opened up a torrent file I have saved, I noticed that my download speed had improved from 1~3 kbps, to 10ish on average. I'm not quite sure what happened to make this happen, so either a)XP's networking proticals are far superior to 98SE's (which they probably are), or b) I found me a nice host. I finished the download today (500 mb >.<), and its pretty good. 362 minutes of progressive trance ^_^ It's sooooo longggggg.... The best part is, the RIAA can blow me 'cause it's a legal file ^_^ Mmm... I love ETS-Global ^_^.
