.: WEEKENDED! :.

Ooh, I just noticed the title is that cool thing where two words are in one... Even though the one isn't a real word... >.> Anyways, this is mostly just a post to spill what happened over my weekend. Started out pretty decent on Friday night. Lorrie & I worked on the mousetrap car for a solid three or four hours, and eventually gave up when it was about eleven thirty and still not working. After that, I pretty much walked up the steps and fell on my bed, immediately asleep. Got up at about 6:40 so I'd be ready when Mark came to take me to the ACT test at Lincoln Way High Central, which is a nice looking but seemingly unconventional school. The hallways are all too skinny, I can't imagine sending 3000 students through them. I thought the ACT was a lot easier than last April, which is kinda surprising... The only thing wierd was that I got a bit confused on the Science, which should be the easiest part of the test because it's just reading graphs and junk. But they asked some really odd questions out of nowhere and I just didn't understand it I guess. But overall, I think I did better. I hope I aced it... Which is pretty much impossible. The math was all really easy stuff too, just simple systems and stuff like, is y=2x+3 a line, ellipse, circle, or parabola... So that was really easy.

After the ACT I ate some lunch & then found out our garage door is broke. There's a huge long spring and stuff thats above it, that is now cracked in half. I don't know what we're gonna do to fix it, perhaps buy a whole new door, I'm not sure yet. But mom's been bitching that the door doesn't work sometimes with the remote thing, so we might get a whole new everything. Only time will tell. After manually lifting the door (god that thing is heavy), my brother drove me over to Dave's house and dropped me off. I have to say, I had a much more fun time than I thought I would have. One of his friends came over and so we went to the basement to play his PS2 that I didn't know he had, and we played some game called Shrek 2, which I thought I had heard wasn't all that good. It turned out to be really fun, but really short. It's played like Gauntlet Legends or FF: Crystal Chronicals, if you're familiar with that. It lacks any items at all, which is pretty lame, but overall is a nice, short game. We beat that by eleven when his friends left, and I whipped out my gamecube that I brought. We played my F-Zero game for a few hours, where I consistantly schooled him (heh >.>). I wish it had a coop mode, that'd be cool. Next on the list was playing Need For Speed: Underground on his PS2, where he owned me, lol. The turning in that game is so much different than on F-Zero... Soon after we decided we'd played that long enough, Dave popped American Pie into his VCR, which was highly hilarious. After the movie we went to bed, where I was again able to fall asleep relatively fast.

Today I woke up at about eleven, woke up Dave, and we proceeded down the steps for some breakfast: french toast, bacon, and sausage. We then chilled on the couch and watched the Bears get schooled. Again. After the Bears game, I went home and put all my junk away. Lorrie came over again, and we made the car actually work. Now it goes 20 feet or so, at maximum. Hopefully tommorrow we can get it to go the full 7m, which would be totally schweet. Thats all for today I think... I'm done writing. This should have taken me like half an hour tops, and I think its been well over 40 or 50. Time to hit the sack...
