.: Stupid Comcast :.

Stupid Comcast changed how they host webpages, so now I have to figure out their new system, plus the password I used to get on it (long since forgotten as I never used it). The only reason I need to do this is because, as you can see, the pictures won't load anymore, because I had them hosted there. And it was free bandwidth that was pretty quick. I theoretically could get a photobucket account or something, I don't know, and host them there, but I don't really have any use for that besides this. Meh.

Not a whole lot of news around these parts. I've got jury duty on Wednesday that I'm not really looking forward to. Apparently I get paid like $17 for the entire day, basically waste my day, and since it falls on one of my class days it totally screws me up. Now I have to go to school tomorrow to take a test and turn in an assignment. Ugh. Stupid court system. And it's downtown, an hour away. :(

On other news I've been overloaded with anime recently. Finished watching Kanon, which was a really good love story. The ending was really symbolic and actually pretty good. Then I finished Wolf's Rain, which actually ends really well, twice. I say that because the it aired on TV for 26 episodes, and then when it came out on DVD they put another 4 on those. So the ending for episode 26 is really good and does the story justice by itself, but then they decided to continue it and end it symbolically as well. One thing I liked about the ending was that they didn't screw around with the characters. If they were going to die, they actually killed them and didn't cheapen the story by trying to make it a happy ending when the story really doesn't allow for it. Now I'm working on watching Eureka seveN. It seems like it's meant more for a younger audience, but luckily more like a teens younger, and not a little kid younger. It's been pretty good so far too. I really love this song "Storywriter" in it, too. You may notice I've listened to it 4 times in a row now on last.fm :P

Besides Eureka seveN, I'm also watching Ghost Hound and Clannad. Unfortunately both those series are ongoing, meaning I can only watch an episode a week of Clannad, and the subbers for Ghost Hound haven't released a new one in over a month... At least the quality is insane. Both shows are really interesting, and I wish I had a good video editor program to cut out a clip of Clannad which is freaking hilarious... It goes like this:
One character, Fuko, gets a little dreamy every now and then and completely spaces out. So, that's how it starts. Fuko spaces out, but she spaces out in the middle of arguing with the main character, Okazaki. Okazaki decides to play a trick on her. Seeing one of his female friends exiting class, he calls her over and gives her some instructions for when Fuko finally snaps out. He tells this friend to say, "I'm Okazaki; I just turned into a girl." If Fuko asks how, say, "it falls off every now and then." Anything else, to say "I guess." Then he goes off and hides around a corner within earshot.

I don't want to ruin it, so you better grab the episode... It begins at 12:50 and goes until 15:13. Maybe I'll grab the lower quality version and see if I can cut out that segment and host it somewhere... Freakin' hilarious though. :) (edit: Sempai rocks so she did it for me. Link is here!)

Still searching for a new cell phone. I'm debating the Sony-Ericsson w580i, but I've heard the battery life leaves something to be desired. Other than that I'm not sure what phone I'd be interested in anymore. For a while I wanted the Samsung i450, but then I realized I'd be paying a premium for a bunch of features I don't even want or would use, as it's a smart phone. Anybody been looking at phones and have any suggestions? Bar, flip, or slide I don't really care.

A friend of mine showed me a website a couple weeks back called woot.com. Basically the gist of it is they throw up one item for sale each day (and only one) and it's usually heavily discounted, and shipping is a flat $5. You can buy either one, two or three, shipping still only $5. (not each, just $5) Completely random things, never the same thing twice, but it's usually some kind of electronics. There was a sound card on there a while back, universal phone charger, speakers, a camera, a mac mini, just random things. They have a sub webpage called shirt.woot.com which sells explicitly shirts for $10, no shipping. Every now and then is a really cool design. Same idea here though, one shirt one day, can buy one, two, or three. I've already bought two shirts from it. I can tell you the size chart they give you is precise. They are tight fitting shirts. Comfortable though :)

What else is new... I dunno. Recently I've just been getting back into the swing of things with anime. Feels good to get back into it. Like finding a toy you used to play with all the time and then one day lost it. Maybe. I joined the boxtorrent forums and have been wandering around them for a while now too. I thought I was an otaku, jeeeeez. :P

Adion is currently listening to: SUPERCAR - STORYWRITER [4:20]
